LaRaza is Mexican and some nasties from Central American countries.
Miami has a lot of Cubans, who tend to see Mexicans as somewhat criminally inclined, possibly dangerous, and socially undesirable. Given the numbers and who occupies what offices here in Miami (AKA “Miuba” or Havana North), bet on the Cubans not idly watching while La Raza tries to burn Cuban vehicles, much less Cuban homes or businesses.
Interestingly, all of the Hispanics seem underwhelmed with
the ‘hoodies and ‘homeboyz’ in Miami’s black areas. IIRC, many of the blacks over 30 are also underwhelmed with the black hoodies/homies.
Obama and the Obamoids may get some violence going, but not outside black areas.
However, if the ‘flash mobs’ have been coordinated, they could open a whole new level of urban warfare by being able to suddenly concentrate on a target and numerically overwhelm it, trash it, and vanish before police arrive. The flash mob members may get a surprise from their white and Hispanic victims as many are likely to shoot back.
The state’s star witness from Florida, I think a lot of people (women) saw through her. I don’t think the mother will pretend under oath. She will be very emotional. Too many commentators today recommended for her to be sincere and heartfelt. We’ll see how it goes on Friday. I am still uncomfortable that he did not have a jury of his peers. I will be watching all of the further testimony and the verdict.

Absolutely false. Full mag +1 (in the chamber) is not unusual at all. Probably 75% or more of the people I know that carry semi-automatic pistols carry in this condition. It is a common practice, and very easy to achieve, requiring no "unusual lengths" to get to that condition.
Yup. I think I got the “black dominican” off the local florida channel guys (lawyer and channel 9 guy) who kind of talk about it and fill time when they recess or sidebar.
I saw an interview with current prosecutors from other jurisdictions. They all said that the case was overcharged, given the evidence that is currently available.
They also said that they would not be surprised if the prosecutors in FL were ordered by their bosses [against the prosecutors' wishes] to bring the case at this time - given that it has become a cause celebre for the black minority.
Maybe Zimmerman’s best bet is to not put on a defense and ask for a dismissal.
I’m sure they’ll ask for that as a normal part of business (as I understand it), but it would be a hoot to see Zimmerman’s team just close up shop, since the prosecutor hasn’t provided jack so far.

Only an idiot would carry a PF-9 any other way. The magazine only holds 7 rounds. It is not a double stack. The gun Zimmerman carried is the same as my carry gun, the smallest 9mm made. It is less than one inch thick. It can only be so thin because the magazine is neither a double stack nor alternate stack, the bullets are stacked one directly on top of the other in a straight line. The unfortunate trade off to have a small gun is to have a small amount of ammo in it. I always carry 8, any police officer carries chambered, often without the safety engaged, I have a son that is a cop, in Florida no less.
Zimmerman, from the evidence should walk but many women act from emotion rather than logic. They will feel sorry for the mother. The only thing I can hope for is that she says something about how wonderful her son was, anything to open the door to his past behavior.
I still believe that George Zimmerman was and is a hero. He saved his community and the world for that matter from the life long escapades of this common hood. Trayvon Martin was a thief, a Polar Bear Hunter, a racist and an addict. His dirt nap is well deserved. I can hardly wait until the next time I am in Florida and can visit the grave of Trayvon Martin and urinate on it.
I think the State would have a hard time proving Involuntary Manslaughter, much less Second Degree Murder.
Then again, Obama won Florida and that’s the Jury Pool they picked the six women from.
Nothing would surprise me. Zimmerman is simply a Political Prisoner. We now live in the 21st Century version of the Soviet Union.
