they can’t get the evidence door open..lolol

I don’t understand why the defense can’t call witnesses the prosecution didn’t call. For example, why can’t the defense call the medical examiner?

I havent proved that Trayvon Martin is dead yet. They must produce either a death certificate or testimony from the medical examiner. I wonder if O'Mara will be allowed to point out all the things missing from the state's case?

I’d love to see a poll on Headline News, “which social media website will embarrass the prosecution today?” There aren’t many that haven’t already blown up in their faces.

(Ten percent of poll respondents are either lying or insane)
They have now stipulated that TM is dead.

Lol! You mean....you appreciate the lack of several dozen snark posts that you have to skim past to get to the proceedings?

Defense will make a motion to dismiss charges since state has not made its case. --
Technically, it is a motion for judgment of acquittal, not for dismissal.
O'Mara might (and could) move to dismiss based on immunity, but I don't think he will.
Motion for judgment of acquittal is routine.

ME coming in and two more.
No way they were wrapping up the case on Wednesday.

Why would MOM agree to the stipulation that TM is dead?

They can, they just have to wait their turn. They probably can’t ask TrayMom what TrayDad said about Trashcan’s voice (hearsay), but they can call him themselves later.

Is the judge actually attempting to smile this morning? Must have had a nice, fulfilling “recess”.

Dear jiggyboy,
Thanks for the answer.
Okay. Obviously, it'd be nice to point out that the prosecution didn't call ‘em, but nonetheless, the testimony of these witnesses can still take place.

Motion for judgment of acquittal is routine. Won't happen here. The coward judge doesn't want to be repsonsible.

Save time, focuses the jury on the issues of material fact.

Can they ask if anyone had made Trayvon aware that there was a Neighborhood Watch when Travon was sent to stay with Tracy's girlfriend? Travyon Martin was not walking home from the 7-11. He did not live in that community.
Can they ask Sybrina who arranged the meeting for Crump's deposition of Dee Dee, and who sent a police cruiser to pick her up and deliver her to Sybrina's home for that deposition?
