I hope you're not correct but like you said, the last election was rigged and there is no reason this trial cannot also be rigged.

That said, this trial is a watershed. Either way, things will never be the same.

A reasonable concern. There is a difference: The whole world is watching this sausage being made. They may get away with getting the jury to dance the tune, but there will be trouble in the future if it appears the persecution cheated to get the win. Ask Barry Bonds sometime how that goes.
