The Old Man was SFC I know the drill!

It migt be wise to check out the difference, in the U. S. Army, between the rank of CSM (Command Sergeant Major) and SFC (Sergeant First Class).

The gap in function and honors is rather large.

That rank was never in my mind! But I know Military protocol.
It is a lower rank I did not know about! As this is the top dog!
