I hope you are right on the first assertion and wrong on the second.
Convicting him could be very damaging to the rule of law. Riots could be an opportunity to re-establish the rule of law.

That is my fear, too. The jurors know if they acquit, they and their families will never have another normal moment in their lives and will hunted and worse.
