Analysis: George Zimmerman Probably Won't Be Convicted of Murder or Manslaughter -- Here's Why
ABC ^ | 7/7/13

...Now that the prosecution's case against Zimmerman is in, as a legal matter, I just don't see how a jury convicts him of second degree murder or even manslaughter in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

So what happened? How can an armed man who shot and killed an unarmed teen after being told by the police that he didn't need to keep following him, likely be found not guilty of those crimes?

I certainly sympathize with the anger and frustration of the Martin family and doubt that a jury will accept the entirety of George Zimmerman's account as credible. But based on the legal standard and evidence presented by prosecutors it is difficult to see how jurors find proof beyond a reasonable doubt that it wasn't self defense.

Prosecutors are at a distinct legal disadvantage.

Actually, the last long article I read about him says he bought all the homes around his in Miami ... and that he sits alone in a room watching multiple TV stations at the same time. He does this as one of his employees posts the Drudge Report website with which [supposedly] he is not one on one.

He is said to be a total recluse.

Having said that, I cannot disagree with you and have no idea if the Drudge article is correct.

This judge has done that before and her history of reversals confirms that.

From the map I have seen tm went home and then went back to confront gz.

After Ma Zimmerman and Jorge Meza (uncle) testified on Friday....the mixed race Hispanic is the juror to least worry about now...

Truly idiotic of him/them to do that, with a smiling photo no less!

For what it’s worth, I wrote and told them to take that crap down! Unbelievable!

All the jurors should have you worried. There is a lot of pressure to convict.

I must be interpreting the article wrong. The way I am reading it, Abrams is telling the reader, most likely a low information Obama voter, that there are real reasons why Zimmerman may be acquitted.

Uncle Chip is right on Crump.....note Crump fought to be deposed...Judge Nelson covered for him with an ruling he did not have to testify....only to have the appellate court overrule Nelson.

Crump knows he is about to be cold busted....and he is concerned more with all his civil lawsuits going up in smoke

gz is guilty until proven guilty.

and even then it will be guilty just not proven.

his life has been destroy by Bondi/cori/nelson and the POLITICAL effort to human sacrifice an innocent to the mob.

I’m just hoping but O’Mara/West know what went on and they know Crump’s part in it.

It’s not in the deposition where things will blow up on him but on the witness stand in public in front of the rest of the schemers. The deposition just keeps him from changing his story.

“I certainly sympathize with the anger and frustration of the Martin family....”

There isn’t any “Martin family.” All you have is the baby mama and the heretofore absent sperm donor, who only showed up for the trial in case it might result in milking whitey for some cash, and he’d sure hate to miss out on getting some loot!

One other thing: The 5th DCA limited West/Omara questions regarding Witness 8 in their deposition.

However they didn’t say anything was limited about Francine, the other girl who went to Jacksonville with Rachel.

He’s gonna walk...and he is gonna file civil lawsuits galore.

They commie rat Holder is going to file federal civil rights charges against Zimmerman and set up a kangaroo court to convict.

The Obama administration is corrupt to the core and will do anything they want to anybody they want. There are too few members of Congress with the gonads to actually impeach the scumbag for violating existing laws.
