Jurors heard it.
Heard and saw his demons he was dealing with and had to overcome to provide testimony.

I find your “reasoning” irrelevant as to this particular jury. I find it funny.
There are exceptions to EVERY rule. Not a rule of thumb exists in this world that there are NO exceptions to.
Your speculation as to THIS jury is not worth arguing over and I won’t.
It won’t be very long, now, until we find out what this jury will do. That’s the day when we will truly understand something about this jury. THIS one. And how they are viewing this case. And whether they are in fear for their safety or are more courageous and determined to render true justice.
