Rush doesn’t do a lot of show prep, you can tell when he makes a point then repeats it up to 3 or more times. Like Stein did the last time he subed. He talked about an umbrella being used as a spear and repeated it 5 times.
Rush has the resources to hire people to get to the real grit on the other side of the story but he just reads Drudge and wings it, like so many others.

We’ll never get rid of it; it’s going to become another permanent entitlement, leading to our economic and societal collapse.

I wrote a simple app for my pc that mutes the audio for 3, 4, or 7 minutes. The window stays on top so I can hit the proper button at the sound of the loud stinger.

He doesn’t tweak the libs as much as he used to with his updates with their themes. I miss that allot and to me, it was an entertaining part of the show.

But I thought Rush didn’t talk about what whiners wanted him to talk about?
To: Clint N. Suhks
He apparently didn’t get to it fast enough.

Reports say that the pilots were warned.. that reminded me of this.
From an Internet source.
"In November 1983, a Colombian jumbo jet en route from Paris to Bogot was making a scheduled stop in Madrid. Landing in the dark, the crew made a mistake with the instrument landing system, turned on to an incorrect track and flew into a hill. An analysis of the cockpit voice recorder revealed that some minutes before the crash, an audible ground proximity warning system had told the crew: "Pull up! Pull up!" The pilot replied: "Shut up, gringo." Those were his last words. All 20 crew and 161 of the 172 passengers were killed. "

Good; it deserves it’s own thread.
Nice move on the pre-emption. ;-)

Rush, the thought that you're looking for is that Obama has granted to himself the power of the
Line Item Veto that Reagan wanted so badly.
Now, Obama can effectively veto any part of a bill that he doesn't like by simply refusing to enforce its provisions and dare Congress to confront him.

...and if dollars have been appropriated in any budget prior to the new implementation date, dear leader is in violation of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment act of 1974 (brought to us thanks to Richard Nixon).
I would love to see this administration in court defending its decision to not execute Obie's signature legislation.
