A forensic expert testified Tuesday that Trayvon Martin's gunshot wound indicated that he was likely on top of George Zimmerman when the neighborhood watch volunteer shot him.
Forensic pathologist Dr. Vincent Di Maio, an expert on gunshot wounds who has written and co-authored several articles and a book on the subject, said the single shot that killed the Florida teen passed through Martin's clothing as it hung 2-4 inches from his skin, indicating that Martin was over Zimmerman and leaning forward.
"If you’re lying on your back, the clothing is going to be against your chest," Di Maio testified. "So the fact that we know the clothing was two to four inches away is consistent with someone leaning over the person doing the shooting."
Di Maio also testified that Martin likely remained conscious for 10-15 seconds after the shot, and may have been alive for as long as three minutes, according to the forensic evidence.
Di Maio stated that he agreed "100 percent" with the firearms examiner, who concluded the weapon was discharged against Martin's clothing; and he explained the gun was fired two to four inches away from the skin, according to powder tattooing around the wound.
"My opinion is that that muzzle of the gun was two to four inches away from the skin," Di Maio testified. "So, the barrel of the gun was against the clothing, but the clothing itself had to be two to four inches away from the body at the time Mr. Martin was shot."
Di Maio further explained that if the clothing was wet, it would be heavier and would hang more. It was raining heavily on the night of the February 2012 confrontation.

The prosecutors have proven themselves to be a bunch of liars, conspiring with the Martin family and the Justice Brothers to convict someone legally defending themselves so that they can financially enrich themselves.

For any rational jury member, it should be. But that is assuming a great deal.
A significant portion of our population is not caring a bit about the facts in this case, nor about how cases are tried. They’re running on pure emotion.
We are a nation of non-thinkers.
The reason I ask is because I would think both parties agree that Zimmerman was clocked in the face by Traydmark™ , so what exactly is the prosecution trying to prove here? That Zimmerman should have allowed Traydmark™ to hit him again or risked Traydmark™ hitting him again?
How many punches must one receive before one is allowed to take action? To me ANY punch can be an attempt on ones life because I have read a few stories in the past where someone punches someone and the person they hit falls and cracks their head on the pavement and dies. So what is their argument here? This trial is insane.

Obama won by getting a race issue before the election. The race pimps won when they got the arrest and show trial. They'll make use of either verdict.
