Yeah, it goes to intent of murder or great bodily harm I believe. Most perps, when confronted with exposure (residents coming out of homes, calling police)get up and flee. Why did this kid stay? Why was he so adamant about finishing his attack that he goes so far as trying to stifle/stay on top of GZ after he’s already drawn attention? Was TM mentally ill, s in psychotic? The only drug in his sytem, and apparently not much, was pot.
