Why is a Marlin rifle used to illustrate an article about Remington?
Because either Remington now owns Marlin or they are both part of the "Freedom Group," which is the Remington's parent company. I realized this when I sent my Marlin 336 in for repairs a few years back -- the shipping address was the Remington factory in Illion, NY.
