Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

It would seem, at minimum, that it would have been reasonable for MoM to ask about how often Sybrina had personally spoken with TM in the last year or so prior to the shooting, and whether during that time she'd had occasion to hear him screaming. Since teenage boys' voices often change quite a bit year to year, the amount of recent exposure to the son's voice would have a strong bearing on her knowledge of what her son would have sounded like in February 2012.
BTW, I'm curious why the jury wasn't allowed to see or hear the 7-11 tape since it would provided the most current depiction of his appearance, manner, and voice.

I think 1 maybe more will not acquit because they feel someone must pay for TM death and unfortunately the only one available is GZ.

If they have reached a verdict, they'll have a nice meal at the hotel tonight, chew the fat, retire early, have a nice breakfast at the hotel and then a nice catered lunch back at the courthouse... stall a couple more hours in the deliberation room for appearances sake....and then release the verdict by 4 PM....and be back home for a nice dinner cooked by their nice relieved husbands.

Alternatively, they've already agreed on a verdict but sense that releasing it Friday evening might not be the safest thing in the world.

Watching the trial I found the state to be, in a word disgusting.
I think Mark Omeara said something similar in the summary.
Power of the state is in vicious hands in that court room. The one lawyer made me sick to my stomach, the arrogance he displayd. Just disgusting, Judge and both lawyers. Angela Corey, I think? The one responsible for this mess, a disgusting pig.
The fact they kept Trayvons phone out of evidence is horrendous. It has just as much value as the stupid bottle of ice tea and bag of skittles. That decision by the judge spoke volumes as to what a pig she is.
My fear is Eric Holder drops in tomorrow and announces he will press federal charges, violation of Trayvons civil rights. These people are vicious scum.
The court need time to prep for a verdict. I doubt the court would even have them back tonight if a verdict was reached.
I’ve only visited FL a few times. Do you think any riots will be contained in major cities, I’ve heard Miami mentioned several times, or spread to more suburban/rural areas?
The 6 women need some social time together.
They have been sequestered for 2 weeks and unable to talk — ummmmm — unable to talk about the case that is.
They probably have a lot to get off their chests regarding the things they have seen and heard and need time to do it.
Reports say one juror was crying during the prosecution’s final melodrama, they may be hung already.
I remember reading here that they might not be released from sequester immediately, that there could be a "cool down" period, length of time to be determined by the judge. My guess is that would depend on the verdict and how much trouble was in the streets.
Not sure of this, but sure I read something to that effect here.
It doesn't matter that GZ has never done anything to hurt them...they have been taught that they are aggrieved and have been put upon by all Honkies and as such they are entitled to retribution...they are entitled to righteous hatred.
It makes sense when you understand that the black underclass has a self-esteem issue. They have ENTIRELY TOO DAMN MUCH self esteem.

There's a similar attitude in Islam, where a Christian in a Muslim country who dares to strike a Muslim, even in self defense, commits an act of war where ALL Christians are subject to attack.
