To the poster who feels that there is safety in posting to/from a made up FB account from Starbucks - that seems more like wishful thinking to me. I suspect that there are ways of figuring that one out - my hunch would be that there are ways of correlating seemingly unrelated data sources and looking for patterns and red flags. Also - using a public wifi network is inherently insecure if you really want to get technical about it.You could probably make that one work, but you better anonymize your MACID (network card serial number) and be disciplined about not checking your real e-mail, logging on to FR, etc., without re-anonymizing or de-anonymizing.
