LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Sen. Marco Rubio said Thursday that he will refuse to vote for further funds for the U.S. government unless the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, is defunded, according to a Politico report. The Florida Republican also urged fellow conservatives to vote down the continuing resolution to prevent

Rubio doesn’t seem to realize that the voters no longer trust him. And no amount of pandering will regain that trust. And to think, if it weren’t for massive voter fraud in Florida Allen West would still be in the House. What a shame.

Regardless, this is Rubio pandering to get back in our good graces. His star is diminished, in my opinion. He just blatantly lied to us repeatedly and shoved a bad bill across the finish line. This is not about being single issue.

Too late, Marco.

There is nothing you can do.

You, sir, are done.

A weak and obvious performance, Mister Rubio.

We will never, ever (EVER) be distracted from our absolute objective to unseat you in your 2016 primary election.

Nothing else you do changes anything.

Regardless his motive, he does get media coverage and it is long past time for the truth of this terrible law to be debated because the media refuses to say how bad it is. Actually, the law stinks so bad I wouldn’t be so sure that it has ‘no chance’ of being defunded or modified in major ways.
Peace

I appreciate your good intent, but the amnesty debacle has made Rubio so radioactive now among core conservatives that his advocacy for any given conservative cause, no matter how noble, probably does more harm than good. This is on him. I am glad he is for defunding OC, and we need to keep that message being heard, but it is unlikely anything will change the distemper of the present Senate until elections give conservatives a numerical advantage.

Would that Rubio would put as much speechifying, fast-talking and ad-buying into THIS effort as he’s done for amnesty.

We’ll find out whether he’s serious about this, or an empty gesture, like his 2010 claim about supporting border security.

LOL. Rubio has been AWOL on the amnesty bill. McCain and Schumer went to the WH demonstrating that Rubio was just the puppet to sell amnesty. Now Rubio is trying to restore some conservative cred. It won’t work.

Rubio is grandstaning for the Conservative base he abandoned on amnesty.

He KNOWS Harry Reid will defeat that idea in the Senate and Boehner neither has the guts or the votes for it in the House, with 2014 elections around the corner and the biased media’s ability to spin the issue totally in Obama’s favor.

Trying to pretend to be a conservative now is just a teensy bit late, don't you think, Marco????

I know it is for me as I'll not believe you are, no matter whom else claims you've "come back" to the conservative reservation!

if we make an assumption, albeit a big one, that obamacare was not designed to actually fail and blow up the system to pave the way for single payer, and everyone including Obama now realizes it cant work, could the following be true?

dems tell gop, we’ll grease the skids to help you make it go away, just don’t let our supporters think we gave up on it.

Sorry pal but I'm not "being vicious" I'm merely stating facts: Rubio claimed to be a conservative, claimed he wouldn't go forward on any legalization (note amnesty never mentioned) unless and until the borders were secure, then voted that amendment down, and on an on.

Now, he claims that he'll not go forward on "any Senate business until........."

That's all very well and good but with millions of illegals here getting "legalized" regardless of border security - thanks to Rubio, and millions more streaming in by the hour, what we do or don't do on Obamacare is redundant!

We won't have a country left thanks to Rubio's Amnesty grab and that's the truth, not fiction nor is it "hateful and vicious," let alone an "obsession!"

If you can't stand the truth, I'd suggest you head on out to some "moderate, no labels site" to get all warm and fuzzy!

communism is no fun and results in extreme poverty for 99% of the population and people are virtual slaves in a dictatorship. think N. Korea or Cuba . that is what you immigrants are doing to America

so, in other words, 99 per cent of us will be poor and work mundane jobs, while people like mark zuckerberg, Michael Bloomberg, and Elliot spitzer will helicopter from rooftop to rooftop, avoiding the great unwashed, and Elliot will be allowed to procure his favorite hookers because the police will be working for them.
i’m sure those type of people don’t want that to happen, and they hope for a just and fair society.
