I am bothered by the fact that ONLY 6 persons are being used in a case where the penalty could literally be life in prison.
Why NOT 12 persons?
I sat on an Assault & Battery case years ago in the jury, and we had 12 persons for that crime. We also convicted him.
Floirida state law allows only six jurors in non-capital crimes.
