I see you do have a problem with answering simple questions, but your general tone seems to suggest you think we should put women in prison for slapping people. Feel free to try to correct that misimpression.

Given that you can’t understand a simple answer to a simple question that you asked, even when given to you multiple times, I hold out little hope that you could figure out how to coherently explain your position, much less stop giving people the wrong impression of your opinion.

One thing that is funny is how you have conflated the problem of consequences with the validity of action.

You seem to suggest that something that was perfectly VALID before can suddenly become “INVALID” because of how people will respond.

I would argue that if it is morally acceptable to punch someone in the nose, it continues to be so, even if it is not a prudent thing to do. Your arguments are about prudence, not morality. It would be easier if you could stick with one or the other, or at least acknowledge that you understand the difference.

My questions were regarding “morality”, or more accurately “socially acceptable norms”. Each question seeks to clarify what YOU think is “socially acceptable”. None has anything do to with what is “prudent”. You may well never want to even GO INTO a bar because of what might happen, but that doesn’t mean it is immoral to go into a bar.

Oddly, you seem clueless as regards what I would do, even though I already explained several times that I never hit anybody for anything. Despite my avowed pacifism, you continue to insist that I am looking for an excuse to punch someone. I do appreciate though your permission to do so.

In my “daddy’s” america, they went to war to defend our freedoms. That was a long long time ago. And I still picture you as someone who would be likely to be the first to be beaten up in a bar fight, but that is just a likely mis-impression I get by your general approach to reality.

I can actually see you shouting the n-word in a minority bar and then protesting “Hey, hitting people is never the right response” as you are beaten to a pulp.
