Nearly all the NYC mayoral candidates are condemning the verdict, including the one I was sort of inclined to vote for. Bill Thompson is black, Christine Quinn is a bull dyke, Bill DiBlasio is married to a black woman, John Liu (Chinese) is reputed to have ties to Chinese gangsters. Anthony Wiener made a stupid comment. The Republican candidates, who are very weak candidates in my opinion, have not responded in Twitter thus far. One is a billionaire grocer with no previous political experience, one is the former head of the trouble-plagued NYC transit system (so you screwed up the MTA, now you're ready to screw up the entire city as a reward?), and a few other assorted non-contenders.
This basically leaves voters in NYC who believe in the justice system totally screwed with a ballot dominated by black-pandering candidates.
