Robert Zimmerman Jr. gave the first post-verdict interview from the Zimmerman family to CNN’s Piers Morgan tonight. Zimmerman told Morgan his family is still processing the verdict and the prospect of George being a free man again. He did not partake in any kind of joy, saying no matter what it’s still a horrible tragedy, but expressed that his brother will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his free life.
Zimmerman told Morgan he “can’t put into words how relieved we are as a family,” but made it clear this isnot “a time for high-fiving,” because Trayvon Martin lost his life and that’s a tragedy even if it was not murder. He said his entire family is glad they are no longer on the other end of a “mountain of misinformation.”

Morgan noted how Zimmerman is now entering a world where “many people despise him,” asking, “Does he fear for his safety?” Zimmerman said his brother always has, but now “he’s gonna be looking around his shoulder for the rest of his life.” He expressed concerns about people “who would want to take the law into their own hands” instead of respecting the verdict.
He also dismissed the idea that no one has “been made accountable” for Martin’s death, and slammed all the “conjecture and speculation… dominating the conversation” leading up to tonight’s verdict.
Zimmerman also pointed out that there’s a lot of black-on-black crime that doesn’t get prosecuted, and scolded people trashing his brother in the media. Morgan pushed back a little, arguing that some of that happened because Martin was unarmed, but Zimmerman insisted he was armed with the sidewalk and his “nose-breaking fists.”

Saw the interview. He was incredibly knowledgable. Made Morgan look like an idiot (not hard). They eventually cut to a commercial break to end the ownage.

He was very impressive, he took Piers apart, clearly won the debate. I tweeted about his performance, and they were retweeted and favorited often (meaning people agreed).
If the behavior of the media makes you sick like it makes me sick, then do what I have done for the last six years. Do not watch ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN at all. Do not go to the movies or buy music from any Obama supporting actors or musicians. Half of this country is still conservative. Without our dollars, Hollywood and the racist music industries will perish. Its time we fight back people.
I think the people who are all worked up about this, will forget about this so fast it will make your head spin. On to the next reality show idiot, or something else. In a year, it will be like, “Zimmerman, who?”

I doubt it. These morons will forget about this in two weeks. The have the attention span of a goldfish. The drive-by media will alert their attention to some other incident to keep them watching.

Looks like he has proved that he can take care of himself.
He just needs to move to a place like Idaho. If it’s not on the ghetto thug’s public bus route, they’re probably out of luck.
I predict a good life available for GZ in Wyoming or Alaska, should he so choose.
If I were about thirty years younger, I would have no problem volunteering to watch George’s back.
With the settlement money from sueing Bondi, Corey, MSNBC, et. al., he should be well able to hire some serious 24/7/365 protection from ex-Marines.
