NBC News is currently being sued by Zimmerman for editing the audio of a telephone call that Zimmerman made to 911 during the night of the altercation with Martin.Let's pray Zimmerman gets satisfaction in this case. I don't expect any of the news outlets (even Fox) to cover this. I'll have to go to Breitbart, Newsbusters or The Blaze to hear about this outcome.

the public was rarely told about other facts about [Zimmerman] such as that he fought successfully to get justice for an elderly black man who was beaten by the son of a white police officer, how he mentored black youth, or even that he was a supporter of Barack Obama and not some sort of far-right white nationalist.I wonder if Zimmerman (or Paula Dean for that matter) will be changing party affiliations in the next election?

“Trayvon Martin will forever remain in the anals of history next to Medgar Evers and Emmett Till as symbols for the fight for equal justice for all,” Crump said.
And the moron really said “anals” on live international television instead of “annals.”

I woulda shot him too. In a heartbeat. When some strange person sucker-punches you to the ground and then gets on top of you and starts banging your head into concrete, your only assumption can be that he means to either kill you or do you serious bodily harm. You don't have time to intellectualize over the finer points.
I'm reminded about a joke involving a girl named Mary Ann. It seems that Mary Ann was walking down the street one night when a big black dude came jumping out of the shadows and started ripping her clothes off. She wasn't worried. She knew she had left her wallet at home.
