Isn’t this getting pretty close to “double jeopardy”? George Zimmerman has been tried in a court of law, found to be “not guilty”, and discharged from custody of the court.
What ever happened to respecting the authority of a legally constituted judge and jury, once they have pronounced their verdict? Unless there is some basis for taking the outcome to an appeal, the findings of the court are binding. There would have to be a LOT of evidence, of very damning nature, to reopen the prosecution of George Zimmerman.
Persecution, of course, is an entirely different matter.
Just as an aside, former Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, is about as “white” as George Zimmerman. Yet I had never heard the term “white Hispanic” applied to Gov. Richardson.
Harry Reid had better be a little careful where he goes with this.
