Um, sorry but the "mis-editing" was not "botched," it was INTENTIONAL fraud on the part of NBC. I'm thinking that NBC will want to avoid the embarrassment of a civil suit trial and settle for a HUGE amount. At least $10 million. I am hoping that any settlement include an apology by Brian Williams at the top of his show in which he acknowledges that NBC intentionally committed FRAUD.

BTW, how much do YOU think NBC will end up paying Zimmerman?

I don’t think one apology is enough. I say they be forced to run an ad every hour for a month admitting to deliberately smearing Zimmerman to make this a racial incident. Were I Zimmerman, I would insist on it as part of the settlement
Ten million isn’t enough. Martin’s parents are going to demand half, if not all of it. They already sued the condo complex.
Of course Zimmerman will be suing the state of Florida also.

This was one of the worst aspects of the case. NBC is (was) a respected news source and they used their power (not to report but) to advance a false narrative. I think the White House has its tentacles into this organization...just like they do the IRS. It’s real third-world stuff in my opinion. In any case, several million dollars should be extracted from NBC and paid to GZ for all the suffering they caused him and his familty. I’m sure GZ isn’t proud of what he had to do....maybe even regrets a decision or two..., but no man, deserves treatment like this from a National News Media Source.

Some no name female "news reader" , after the verdict, said Zimmerman was acquitted of murder--not the charge of, but the the MURDER of Treyvon. Think it was Fox and Friends this morning or whatever takes its place on Sunday. It wasn't Martha or anyone I know. I could name the number of news readers with 2 intact brain cells to think with on my fingers--maybe just one hand. The rest are clueless, Pavlovian slobs who drool and jump thru hoops on command.
