(Reuters) - A former employee of Florida State Attorney Angela Corey's office plans to file a whistleblower lawsuit against George Zimmerman's prosecutors, his attorney told Reuters on Tuesday.

The action will put pressure on Corey, who already faces criticism from some legal experts for the unsuccessful prosecution of the case, which led to the acquittal of Zimmerman for shooting unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman's defense has also called for sanctions against her and her prosecution team.

To compound their problems, Corey and Co forgot the the First Law of Holes.

Well let's see Spawn44....

You said "Angelo" faced pressure....I think Angela was the right name. That would be truth. Don't you think?

"Your" should have been You're...fwiw.

Spawn..dude...you almost speak like the Jacoby's for Trayvon.

If anyone can force Scott to prosecute

Pretty big if. Not being in tune with local Florida politics, I'm just guessing, but I can't see that happening. Start digging and it will show Scott's hands are dirty here. Without him this case would never have happened. Corey may be incompetent, corrupt and overreaching, but she got her marching orders from Scott's office.

He’s the one who appointed her to do it.

He’s getting off Scott free, pardon the pun.

No one even mentioning it oh his FB page. No angry comments, etc.

The IT guy who said “They’re withholding evidence” should get whistleblower protection and a good reward.

OK, put the squeeze on here and she will crack. This always works with crooks.

And Richard Cory went home and put a bullet through his head.

I liked the Van Morrison/Them cover of that the best.

Given her size, I'd say it would ooze more like a huge puss-filled pimple.

Congress needs to hold hearings and subpoena Holder and the gang. Get every email and communication regarding the Zimmerman case. Also Angela Corey and Sanford City officials to find out if the Adgitator and chief was involved. Even get the FBI file on their investigation that cleared Zimmerman of racial charges. Perhaps the emails and phone records can clear a lot of this up. I would imagine Zero and the gang would leave Zimmerman alone then.

That is the problem; Corey and Scott are on the same team. Scott, Bondi, and Corey make up the unholy trio.

"Zimmerman's defense has already called for sanctions....."

Is there an FR lawyer who can tell us laypeeples what specific "sanctions" are available to punish Corey and any other legal perps so deserving.....and what is the authoritive body which would levy the "sanctions" against her or them?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Leni
