Yeah but that was in sync with conservative opinion -- the time during the Clinton years was when Savage disputed conservatives who charged that a wealthy Clinton donor had been buried in Arlington when he was not entitled.

Savage had the editor of the magazine leading the charge on the show and really gave the guy a hard time.

The Clinton donor's body was eventually removed from Arlington.

Savage had joined the conservative "mob" by that time.
