even in the middle of the night

put an AC in zee window
politics being dragged along
by the storyline of history
certainly not by the citizenry!
does the God of history even receive
a redress of grievances anymore?
baseball must be the sport of the gods
a necessary diversion ... a pastime for heaven?
for the federal courts make the gods ill
they stopped reading the morning papers
Yeah it’s freakin hot. First couple heatwaves this year I was too lazy to put the AC in but week or so ago I couldn’t take it anymore.
First off, I’ll take this weather over fridgid winter. But, a break for a day or two would be most appreciated.
OTOH, I find refuge in getting in front of the AC, popping a Oxy or two, chasing that with red wine and sailing away...heat don’t bother me then.
