I got it in WV in elementary school 1975 - and have the scar...I remember that multi-prongs round devious looking shot! being in the hollows of WV - all the kids I grew up with got that shot...

They used to line us up at the base theater and hit us with that thing. If memory serves it was more painful than the needle. But good for mass production. Although I read somewhere that it was not as sterile as everyone thought at the time.
