Cancer virus? I thought cancer was undiffentiated cells growing out of control. What does a virus have to do with that?

Viruses work by hijacking a cell’s machinery to trick the cell into using it’s metabolic pathways to make more viruses. Sometimes, with some viruses, that hijacking of the cell’s metabolic pathways causes the cell to become malignant.
