Yes on that. And no one (to my knowledge) has demonstrated that there is a need for this “new” federal prison in IL. It is just 0bama giving paybacks to his IL cronies to purchase and open it, at a huge cost to all of us. If you think it was expensive before, for just sitting there empty, wait until they staff it and run it for no justifiable reason.
Not just the financial costs to run it, but the future costs of the low income housing that “must” be built so the families can move closer to their convict daddy. When this happens in a big city it ruins that part of town. But when it happens in a little town like we have? It will just become the Western Crow reservation because people who can afford to move will be gone. And we are the ones providing jobs.
