We have open primaries here, and the Democrats wink at him and don’t run real opposition. They don’t have to. He’s one of them.
I don’t know a single southern Arizonan who’s ever voted for him for his cushy Senate job. He hates most of us and openly scorns and has his staff argue with we the people. (He and his staff are the country’s greatest supporters of wide open borders.)
From what I understand, it’s Sun City (retirement area) and a lot of other areas around Phoenix where he has people really fooled (and/or paid off). And, like Luke said - lots of Dem fans too.
I voted for the other guy ... and will again next senate election. Same with the Flake
