Two visitors to Chicago received a rude welcome to the city Friday when one was robbed by a group of city teens and the other was punched while trying to help, officials said.

There’s that NewSpeak euphemism “group of teens” phrase again.
We all know what that really means now don’ we?
There has been a little less flash mob activity due to the Red Line construction project http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/Riders-Begin-to-Feel-Effects-of-CTA-Red-Line-Construction—208075731.html. The teen wannabe teen ganstas from the South Side would use the Red Line and text to organize the mobs around the Chicago CTA stop. They would come up from the subway and wreak havoc in the prime retail district before melting away into the transit system.

Yeah, plus the "you white b------, leave us alone" stuff sort of tips their hand a little bit too.

I must say however in regard to the subject of racism that it is a mine field. There are the do good variety of white people who are absolutely waiting to vilify a victim. Reference George Zimmerman. I believe the woman was absolutely playing it safe not to touch off the usual fire storm.
Three white teenagers who hopped on a freight for a lark in 1997 in rural Michigan, managed to get off in Flint, Michigan. They had panicked when the freight did not slow elsewhere. One was shot dead and the other two beaten and the girl assaulted. Black teens did this. The Mayor of Flint wrote the white teens off as "delinquents" for hopping on a freight train.
Still a lose-lose situation for white victims of blacks. Glad to see a youth was detained by one of the women.
