Go to any liberal zip code in Michigan and you will find the highest proportion of folks driving foreign cars. Go to any parking lot at any public school here in metro-Detroit and you will see plenty of foreign cars. I always want to ask those teachers when was the last time the majority of the children in the their classes were Japanese or German.
I’m all for freedom of choice in buying decisions but you can’t claim to love Detroit and unions if you are buying foreign cars.
Of course, Detroit’s experiment in self-governnance has also been a miserable failure over the last four decades.
Ann Arbor is full of Toyota Piouses, I mean Priuses.
