Also, she would have to turn her back to the assailant to get in her car.

Well how often do you get to shoot someone outside of chicago. She probably wanted to remember it and share with her kids.

I'm not saying she's guilty. I'm saying she knew exactly what she did and she took a pic of her trophy after she did it. I'm saying she enjoyed it.

Unless you are a mind reader this is pure speculation and it doesn't make a lot of sense with the evidence given.

If she recorded it afterwards I doubt a jury will have pity on her.

Someone pointed out to me that she was probably snapping a shot of the knife in case it disappeared later. Sounds quite plausible.

The correct response with a 10-22 is "bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-click". Evaluate. Is perp still up and threatening?? If no......branch to cell phone, photograph knife. If yes....."new magazine, "bang-bang-bang-bang..........click."

A lot of folks diss the 0.22 long-rifle as wimpy. I've killed more than one full size semi-wild pig with said "wimpy" cartridge, and it rarely took more than three hits to "down". That's with hollow-points. I never tried FMJ.

I read that there was an FBI report that showed that more humans were killed in the USA by a .22 than any other caliber. A single shot may not be that lethal, but the low recoil makes accurate multi-shot results quite good (or bad, depending on your point-of-view, literally).

I am picturing a < 5 ft tall, 78 year old LOL (little old lady) with a "wimpy" 0.22 revolver as the last thing a lot of perps see..... :^)

And I have no problem AT ALL believing your FBI statistics.

Show me one person who wants to be shot with a .22
