Yet another greedy rich fatcat who doesn’t want to pay his fair share of taxes to help people who hurt. He’ll probably be laughing as he counts his money on the way to the bank.

Really bad pizza ... but I feel for him.

His success or failure should be driven by the market for cardboard-like crust, a dab of ketchup, and congealed cheese, all baked to perfection for 60 minutes under the heat lamps of a buffet ... and not on government health insurance regulations.

Is that sarcasm? Because if I was him I would sell too and count my money that would have to hold me through retirement or until I started again somewhere else. Screw people you don’t run a business to provide jobs, it is to make money. Besides most of his employees I’d venture voted for the loser in chief so they deserve what they get.

Business sponsored health care was a scam and dodge around wage controls from the day one.

Just like government admonishment to not feed the bears because they get accustomed to people feeding them, we have become addicted to someone else paying for our stuff.

Why on earth should businesses provide health care? You are paid for your time and skills and health care is not part of your job function, unless you’re in health care.

By the same logic actually more logical, business should pay for food and housing as you need those before health care. And while we are at getting someone else to act like our mommy and daddy, why don’t businesses pay for your car, your clothing, your condoms...?

Any time market forces are removed from what we purchase, by any insurance, I guarantee you prices will rise faster than if those market forces are controlled by your wallet.

Hey man, why don’t you pay for my healthcare.

I hurt.

I’ve had a heart attack.

Write me a check.

Go.

There was a CiCi’s a few miles from the house. Not a bad place when you have seriously hungry teenagers (and I do!). Bottom line...store is closed, and 15 (ish) people are now un-employeed.

“Hope”. “Change”.

I’ve been there once, and once was enough. But the market should decide if CiCi’s pizza succeeds as a going concern. The place was packed so I bet lots of people like it.

these kinds of places are scheduling people for only part time work to get around Obamacare requirements for businesses to provide health insurance.

The key to Cici's is to custom order your pizza, which they are glad to do. Get their supper thin crust and as many toppings as you want, and even extra cheese or double something. It's actually not too bad, and sometimes even good. But don't over-order the veggies or it will be too moist. And their salad bar is acceptable for a discount place.

Definitely an econ-meal, and with a BOGO or discount coupon, I'm not sure how they can stay in business.
