Howdy neighbor! from Twin Falls...
I was at Mountain Home AFB, from 1968 to 1970, when I shipped out for Vietnam, which was the absolute worst year of my life. The next worst part of my 20 years in the Air Force, was the week I was TDY to Incirlik, Turkey. That was worse than Vietnam, except it was only one week, but I have not been back to Idaho since 1970.
