..........facts Tex! Facts!
.........so far, you present no evidence to support ANY of your claims........
all we know is that you are far The Texas Work Force Commission guy running against Abbot ...........
........there you go again quoting The Austin American Statesman and one of it’s allies The Sierra Club.........
Prove to all of us that Abbott is “incompetent”. Where is your evidence? Losing one round at a DC appeals court does not, in and of itself, make him incompetent.
Thanks, Marcella.
TexGrill came in here and right out of the gate, began sliming our Attorney General, while promoting his little known favored candidate for Governor.
Nothing wrong with promoting whomever you prefer in a political contest, but the ad hominems and ugly put-downs this guy made against Greg Abbott were beyond the pale. Given what our AG has done for Texas, I found it particularly offensive. The man is much loved by Texas conservatives.
We had words about it some weeks back, and I thought he was done, but here he is tonight going full tilt crazy again.
Maybe we should have DoWorst do it for us???
Smells more like a paid political operative to me.
He don’t need no stinkin facts.
The grill man seems to have disappeared. He hasn’t replied to a single one of your posts to him. He’s normally all over the forum this time of night.
Must be on the phone to his handlers....
......well, enough is enough! If he wants to make wild allegations he needs to be ready to back them up...
Agreed! Going to give up on him in 6 minutes and sign off!
Utilizing different techniques in my battle strategy. Throw a few bombs, engage in some intermittent fire, disapear and take a look a little later. Of course, you insisted I not surrender, but when it’s a one-man army vs. a million man march, I have to be somewhat creative. You know it’s similar to trying to convince Democrats that Obama is not the Messiah, but here it’s the reverse for Texas Republicans. So it will take some time to tackle Karl Rove’s image game. Rome wasn’t built overnight. Give it some time, I’m beginning to figure a few things out, but often I need some some more experience before I can launch a more effective battle plan.
IBTZ
Keep it up, zot bait.
See post 51. The shill's got a lot of nerve.
Either that, or he's got no idea what that smell of ozone is about :-)
Sir, what you need to figure out is WHY you feel the need to come on FR and insult a bunch of conservative people with wild allegations not backed up with a scintilla of fact. You say “disappear” and “intermittent fire” and “take a look a little later” and “battle strategy” like you think you are cool. I say you say those things because you have been called out and you simply cannot think of anything factual to say. Your like Obama without a teleprompter.
So, please be advised that your not “cool” when you do these things and you are not appreciated. Speaking for myself, I will be glad to listen to any argument of yours backed up with facts and sources. So, for all of us, and particularly those of us in Texas, please holster your gun (keyboard) and go away and come back when you have some facts.
As of Sept. 2012: http://www.texaswatchdog.org/2012/09/texas-ag-greg-abbott-racks-up-258-million-in-taxpayer-costs-suing-federal-government/1347299295.column
So, he sued an overreaching federal government 24 times for 2.58 million, or an average of $107,500 per case. Big deal. . . 2.58 million dollars today will buy you what 1 million bought in 1981.
2.58 million dollars would buy about 8 houses in Texas based on the average listing price of over $300,000.
Note the first comment at your texaswatchdog.org link. . .
“I am a taxpayer advocate, and I say “well worth the money, Gen. Abbott!” We need to continue to challenge federal government overreach into state and individual affairs. Thanks for the tally, Texas Watchdog, but I consider this money well spent.”
You’ve summed the whole issue up in just a few words, “Bullshit” and “Hoax”.
According to the EPA, anyone or anything who breathes is a pollutor and contributing to global warming. You can’t fix STUPID and the EPA is the leader in this field.
Actually, it is uneducated judges who make bad decisions. If they had science degrees instead of law degrees, they’d be much more accurate and sensible.
Let’s hope that another state wins in another federal circuit so that it can go up to the Supreme Court (well, that’s not a hopeful place but it is the only one left).
Meanwhile, folks, hold your breath and stop farting (No more Texas BBQ and beans for you). That will help stop air pollution - NOT!
It's time. I smell ozone building.
Guys, ya wanna cut the new Freeper some slack here. Unless I'm wrong, I read TexGrill's most recent posts as light-hearted and somewhat self-effacing banter.
Not everyone who is new is a troll or attempting to pull something over on Freepers. We have many American Freepers located outside of continental United States so you can relax a bit.
Regarding the issue of him posting a lot of articles about Asia - again we have Freepers who live all over the world so it makes sense that they might post information that they find newsworthy and even want to share the news with Freepers. If it doesn't interest you, that doesn't make someone a troll. Move on to the next thread which does interest you.
Finally, everyone on Free Republic was new at some point except Jim Robinson. Give it time.
Welcome to Free Republic, TexGrill. Most new Freepers go through an informal initiation and it looks like you're going through one now.
