Much has been published about her indeed. I bought her book and actually read it. Sorry to bust your crush, but as much as I love her too, she has her problems.

She increased taxes and royalties on oil production in AK to reinforce a socialistic wealth redistribution system.

She campaigned for many RINO squishes (Karen Handel in Georgia) whose only qualifications were a vagina and an”R” after their name. Think of the AZ governor who forced Obamacare exchanges through.

Sure, she helped Cruz and helps anyone she endorses. In 2008 I cut McCain’s name off the top of my yard sign, and she is why I voted for them.

Simply by not being part of the GOPe she is popular here, and again I hope she wins a seat in the US Senate, but I think she should endorse the most conservative candidate in the primary, like Cruz and not Handel, and should be a bit tougher in dealing with her opponents, which I AM NOT ONE!

“She increased taxes and royalties on oil production in AK to reinforce a socialistic wealth redistribution system.”

Guess you haven’t read the Alaska Constitution, have you?

Or understand the difference between the AK Constitution and the national one?

Cuz there are BIG differences and Palin knows this. You apparently do not.

In brief: AK’s natural resources are OWNED by the people. And something like 90% of AK’s general operating budget is to be derived from the development of those natural resources. According. to. the. AK. constitution.

Palin’s tax program - ACES=Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share - accomplished two main objectives:

1. Fulfill the state constitution to get the best return for the citizens of Alaska

and

2. Ensure the free market allowed all comers to develop the natural resources - and not just the Big Three through cronyism.

Or know anything about how the Big Three oil companies were in bed with legislators and every governor before AND AFTER Palin to get those taxes lowered to SHUT OUT smaller development companies, do you?

As per your “socialistic wealth redistribution system,” I assume you’re referring to the Alaska Permanent Fund? Palin didn’t create that. She maintained it as a means of fulfilling the State Constitution, which AGAIN states that Alaska citizens OWN their natural resources and so get reimbursed for its development.

There is NOTHING remotely like that in the national constitution, nor should there be.

Palin has NEVER stated as such.

This is not difficult.

If you have a clear and unbiased head to think about it.
