I have no way of determining the facts of the matter relative to the lighting of the Flag from that Photo .

I dont know if this is a before or after photo...or where any lighting might have been installed as said Light Fixures doesnt "fall" within the parameters of the photographic frame, nor would they necessarily have to.

II would think that this Flag would be Illuminated by a fixture or fixtures mounted On or Under the Eaves of her balconey.

As we cant see much OF those eaves in this photo determining what lighting Exists would be next to impossible

the photo doesnt encompass enough building "details" to determine precisely How it is lit or was or wasnt lit before the management had a "change of heart"

Tattoos? So what. Lots of active duty and vets have tattoos and have for years. My scoutmaster in the early 60s was a Guadalcanal vet and he had several including a Marine Corps emblem on his forearm. Nobody thought much about it and he was a very successful insurance agent despite his tattoos.

I have a tattoo, the wife has one and we have both been successful in our careers, mine in the military and then a 20 year ongoing professional after retirement and hers after raising three kids and working in various professional positions.

Get over it.

>>If you are offended by the flag maybe it is you that should leave the country.

Who said I was offended? I am however offended by stupid people so guess you qualify on the failed reading comprehension test.

If she takes it down at sunset and puts it back up at sunrise she doesn’t need lighting to be in line with proper flag etiquette. That’s what I did back when I flew the American flag.

Never had a problem with small discreet tattoos. I do have a problem with people who cover their bodies with them.

So I missed one word. Try PTSD on for size and see what the world looks like.

There was a local flag flying flap here some time ago and a law was enacted that homeowner associations could not bar the American flag. I thought Congress passed it but it must have been state. Renters get away with murder in liberal cities.

Your writing is not the easiest to follower either.

Don’t pay the tax and you will know who owns it.

‘____I do have a problem______’

As do I.

I choose to look away from a highly tatooed person because I’m thinking I’ll see something I’d rather not.
And it’s not always that easy to do, especially when they’re checking out my groceries in ‘Whole Foods,’ Thousand Oaks, CA., for one.
I thought tatoos went against one, when applying for a job - - - not all jobs, obviously.

And I believe these tatooed persons delight in getting in our face.
Worst thing we can do is make a negative remark about them - tatooed person eats it up.

I hate that young people (our grandkids, for one) are forced to look upon tatoo ap-cray when in public.

Is there still a health risk (hepatitis) with tatooing?

It will be seized subject to the rights of the tenant. I’m not saying that the rights are as strong but there are rights. I’ve been a landlord for 38 years and before that I was a tenant for several years.

I fully understand property rights... what I don’t understand is denying a wounded warrior the enjoyment and pride of flying our flag. If ever there needed to be an exception to a rule, this was it.

That is also true
