...But on a policy basis, I think Haley has been solid.
Perhaps she has. Many of my elected officials have. But what has changed for the good in Columbia or DC? Not a thing. The Uni-party is still in charge.
One of the hardest pills to swallow, though, is the continual lambasting that S.C. conservatives receive here on FR from out-of-State FReepers for NOT voting out Lindsey Graham and because NOTHING MUCH GOOD HAPPENS when we do succeed to elect Nikki Haley, Jim DeMint, Trey Gowdy, Jeff Duncan, etc.
We get much unsolicited FR advice about who to elect and that's about all.

What about the Argentine babe who was doing the horizontal boogie with Mark Sanford?

Just know what my brother tells me about Haley. He’s a retired police chief who lives outside Charleston. He’s lived in SC for 40 years, knows what’s going on in state politics, especially the GOP. He tells me that Haley is not liked in the state, especially in her own party and is more interested in moving up the ladder nationally (hence the endorsement of Romney) than she is in running the state. He tells me she will most likely lose if she runs again.
