At the beginning of this discussion it should be made clear that we have to put Americans first then we can come up with real practical solutions. The basic idea should be to make it difficult for them to earn a living or get welfare, then many will self deport. People who came here illegally when they were children should be told that they have to go to a immigration lawyer and they have to pay for it with their own money.
Also, no more of this crying because we are “splitting up families”. What a crock! Every immigrant splits from his family to come to America, not just illegal immigrants. We have to get the message out that they are no better than the real immigrants and they will have to part with their family members. It is painful to part with your family and neighbors and leave for a totally new country but millions of people, including my family had to do this. Illegals from Mexico and Central America are more fortunate than immigrants from the eastern hemisphere since they can simply drive down to Mexico during vacation season.
