Good evening, ML!
*HUGS*
Started at about 8:00 p.m. on the 15th of December - WGMS had their annual Beethoven's Birthday Party, during which they played the Nine Symphonies, interspersed with other works - the usual culprits - Egmont - Leonore - Moonlight - Pathetique - Appassionata - etc. Finished up just before dawn.
We had a huge Aiwa reel-to-reel tape deck we had brought back from our tour in Taiwan. Not at all like today. That was in December, 1965.

I remember those big Tape Decks.
I had a Wollansak in the early 60’s, when i was about 10 years old.
The beginning of my recording career.

And, funny thing, one of the first recordings I engineered was my cousin Nancy playing “Fur Elise” and “Minuet in G”.
Yep...ALL Beethoven!
