Not mentioned in this article, but from another article:
store employees reported she attempted to steal $388 worth of women's clothing. The officer, Scott Crow, said in his report he hit Redell because she bit his finger and wouldn't let go.

Redell pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting shoplifting and is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 23 in Scott County (Iowa) Court. Her criminal record includes two previous shoplifting convictions, records show. A second misdemeanor charge, assault causing injury to a peace officer, was dropped.

Officers don’t BEAT shoplifting perps.

Not if the officer is acting correctly.

What she did before has nothing to do with anything in regard to whether or not he administered a BEATING to her.

The claim is also made that when he found out the name of her boyfriend while she was calling him on the phone, he said this is going to get real ugly, real quick. That remains to be seen if it proves out.

Nice to see that violence is no longer an in issue in Chicago and that “civil rights” groups must now go out of state to look for injustices.

Local incident for me.

She bit the cop. He hit her. Not sure on the details or if she bit first.
