I believe you're right.
I have a feeling this has much more to do with it than ANYONE realizes.
This would explain it all. It would explain the “show” hearings. Just enough
show to pacify the base, but without enough investigative teeth to get to the
truth. If it is proven that Bonehead and the leadership knew, approved and
covered up, as well, Bonehead will be a goner. Period.
Bonehead and the very least, the GOP leadership appear to have been “riding dirty”.
It didn’t make sense for him to be selected as Speaker of the House 3 years ago. It was a set up then and it’s a set up now.
