For some time I have been thinking that we need consistency so that if we have Martin Luther King day, then we get George Washington having a day...if we have Presidents’ Day, then we should have something like Civil Rights Day or other generic type day. I dislike Presidents’ Day which puts Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton on equal status with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

I seem to recall Lincoln's and Washington's Birthdays as Holidays.

Imho, among holidays, we should dump MLK day and president’s day, and bring back Washington’s birthday. I’m sick of all of this political correctness.
