Rep. Blake Farenthold, a Texas Republican, told constituents at a townhall over the weekend that the House of Representatives would “probably” have enough votes to impeach President Obama.
Farenthold was in Luling, Texas on Saturday, and after stepping past a question about the president’s birth certificate, suggested that the House would have the votes to impeach the president, but the Democratic Senate would kill the effort.
“A question I get a lot — ‘If everybody’s so unhappy with what the president’s doing, why don’t you impeach him?’” Farenthold said.
“I’ll give you a real frank answer about that. If we were to impeach the president tomorrow, you could probably get the votes in the House of Representatives to do it, but it would go to the Senate and he wouldn’t be convicted.”

Exactly. This is like saying we won’t report a crime, even though we see there is one, because the police won’t arrest the suspect. The Republicans are just avoiding responsibility, like they always do.

I have not seen a dim that cared about America since the 70’s.
If any of these illegal acts by Federal Agencies can be linked back to obama... the dims will force him to resign... but it would have to be absolute proof. Otherwise, the smart money is on boxing him up (lame duck) and allowing him no further treason.

I would love to see Biden as President. At least the gaffes would give us a good laugh. There is nothing humorous about Obama’s reign of terror.
You don’t need an impeachment that would probably be just as damaging to the GOP to box him up. We should look at the Zimmerman trial and how hoping for a prosecution based on a public opinion driven jury turned out.
However, as you say, an airtight case would probably be enough for at least a few democrats to seek his resignation.
At one point in my life, I never thought Clinton could survive the Lewinsky scandal. The idea that the dems and the media would circle the wagons for him was unthinkable. But they did.....
It will be ten times worse if Bambi is impeached, the democrat/media complex will never let him go down.
