I think we ought to require a license for somebody to run for political office. I volunteer to promulgate a set of minimum criteria. Here's a start...
- Criminal background check.
- Psych eval.
- Drug and alcohol testing.
If you apply to be put on a ballot the results will be made public. If you win the office the above will be repeated at regular intervals.
