It pains me to disagree with you, but as someone who has worked with black & Latin Americans in the arts, there is still huge prejudice, condescension and unpleasantness toward non-whites - much of it totally unconscious.

Really? I’ve worked with blacks and Latinos and have found it to be the opposite. If after some fifty years of ‘’breaking down the barriers’’ Blacks and Latinos are still being made to ‘’sit in the back of the bus’’ then the Civil Rights movement has been a total failure which the Left and the race hustlers will always admit to to keep the grievance industry gravy train going. Fifty years ago there were no Oprah Winfreys, no Sean “Puff Daddy’s Combs and there sure as Hell were no Obamas.And where is Affirmative Action for white people? I stand by my argument as to people like Oprah have never faced the the racism of the 1860’s or the 1960’s.
