So, Jane... let me get this straight...
REAL people who are doing REAL things; who believe in REAL principles of REAL life - should watch your SCRIPTED t.v. show for life lessons????
Just goes to show you how out of touch with reality these ‘stars’ who live the ‘celebrity’ life for decades really are.
Jane, liberalism, socialism, COMMUNISM has NO logic to it! They are all about the chosen few RULING over and making virtual slaves of everybody else!
What’s so hard, sweetheart?
Never mind...
FMCDH(BITS)
Cognitive dissonance is what ails this woman. She can not distinguish the difference between a well written script and life’s reality.
Sorkin didn't get that it wasn't actually a bad thing. 178 countries had a higher percentage of babies who died in the first year after they're born. And if we aren't higher, it's because some countries let babies die before they start counting.
In episode two, he tells us that Sarah Palin confused Holland with Norway, thinking that the Dutch came from Norway.
In fact, Palin was talking about getting aid for the BP oil spill from the Dutch (who knew about dikes and keeping water out) and Norway (which has experience with off-shore drilling and fighting rig fires). It's pretty clear what she actually said. Sorkin, apparently doesn't know about Norway's oil resources and actually comes as a fool.
Of course Jane lives in a bubble and she's going to say the kind of things she says, but the show is only good for "hate watching" -- to see how awful it is and whether one can take it. It gets bad reviews even from liberal critics for being preachy, smug, contrived, and misogynistic. Like Keith Olbermann, Sorkin should have stayed with Sports Night or Sports Center or whatever.
Okay, I made the same mistake, but I didn't put it on TV.
This stupid c*** still believes that the fart gas coming out her profane mouth, is "logical."
She really is insane, and really did fry, with drugs, what precious few brain cells she may have had back in the '60's.
Once upon a time I hated her with fervor.
Then, the words in the Lord's Prayer got the better of me.
Now, I just pity her.
“Once upon a time I hated her with fervor.
Then, the words in the Lord’s Prayer got the better of me.
Now, I just pity her.”
Jesus may forgive, but there’s a whole lot of people that will never forget.
You got that right there Stormy Dog. I may forgive those who trespass against me. But that doesn’t mean I have to forget.
OTH, back in those days we had a saying: “God’s gonna getcha for that.”
I still believe that.
I watched the first 3 episodes hoping it would get better, but sadly Jeff Daniels character decided to side with the Graham’s and McCain’s of the world by suggesting that the Teaparty was a bunch of hicks and idiots stealing the republican party away from him. That was it for me I turned it off in mid show and said I don’t have to pay to get ridiculed, I can get that for free!
Shove it deep and high up your wrinkled ass, Hanoi Jane.
Crosswise.
All the people she knows watch The Newsroom. Sounds like that line from Pauline Kael that she didn’t know anybody who voted for Nixon. Same leftist bubble. I doubt the “truth” as Jane Fonda knows it bears any resemblance to the real truth.
Jane needs to get out more!
Reminds me of the story of Pauline Kael, former film critic for The New Yorker, who was purported to have said following Nixon's win over McGovern, "How could Nixon have won? Nobody I know voted for him.".
I will be buying the drinks at the local watering hole the day that scumbag dies.
;-\
Jane, one of this days- betrayal is going to snatch aloft and take you to an unnatural homestead. There is only one thing you can do, to save yourself. Do it now, or forever hold your silence.
Oh, I cannot wait for Sarah’s response to this witch. And Sorkin? This ought to be good.
Is that the show in which an idealized version of some leftist view of the world vs. a strawman from the right like "which is better free birth control for everyone vs. feeding unwanted children to sharks"?
