I am skeptical. Supposedly Assad was winning and taking it to the Rebels. So now he gasses civilians and kills over athousand? Why?
He gains little, but has much to lose.
I do not discount th rebels did this to gather sympathy for their cause.

The other suspicious thing is the timing- on the very day UN weapons inspectors show up. This is as real as Hillary/Theresa/Beau Biden head trauma.
I don’t believe Assad would do this. He knows it would trigger the end for him.

I agree with you. I am rooting for both sides to lose, but it seems highly unlikely that Assad would want something like this. Why? His forces have had the upper-hand recently and he knows he loses if Western powers get more involved. The folks calling the shot for AQ (the side we are supporting - crazy) don’t care about Syrians so I wouldn’t put this past them.
Syria is a mess. We should have stayed out of the Arab Spring, but Obama had an ego moment when he thought the seas would stop rising and peons in the Middle East would faint at his greatness. Go back and read the transcript of Candidate Obama’s big Middle East speech when you need a laugh. We are more hated now than we were before.

Assad is just a poor guy who inherited a mess. The anti-Christ would be the leader that everyone loves and sees as the solution to the problems in the middle east, as far as I understand prophecy.
I bet this all ties into the breaking story that Obama’s brother is in muslim brotherhood and got special IRS treatment by the same woman who went after tea party. So Obama brother sets up charity by order of Obama to funnel weapons to brotherhood, includin morsi, for shipment to Syria. But deal goes bad, morsi orders executions, that’s why military took overafter finding out.
