Interesting, since it got panned in the paper today. For such a "significant" movie, it didn't take long for it to get knocked off it's pedestal. What indicates if the picture bombed or not is the second night's box office compared to the first night's in the opening weekend. If the second night's take is smaller, it's considered a flop because word-of-mouth was not good.
My time near E-Town was the most unpleasant,frightening time of my life...Army...Vietnam only a 16 hour flight away (but I never went,as it turns out).Kentucky may well be the finest place on earth but I suspect I'll never lose my negative memories of it.

I’ve I’ve been looking at Tennessee but there seems to be a lot of crime. Even in small towns.

I live about fifteen minutes from this theatre and I know Ike Boutwell and I will tell you he is one hell of a good man. He has refused to show Hanoi Jane’s movies before and I applaud him for it. The last time he refused to show one of her films I was so inspired that I quit movies all together. I am proud to say that in the last fifteen years I have rented ZERO movies. I have bought ZERO tickets to the movies. And I refuse to support anyone in Hollywood. The last time I went to Ike’s Movie theatre was to see Adam Sandler in The Waterboy that was in 1998 I haven’t missed movies at all. And I haven’t missed seeing anyone in Hollywood. I encourage everyone who reads this to do the same. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are always calling for economic boycotts. Now I am calling for an all out Hollywood Boycott. Unless Tom Selleck or Clint Eastwood do a new film.
The whole “Fonda passed soldiers SS#s on to the enemy - horror ensued” has been debunked. Google, Bing, Dogpile are your friends. There are plenty of reasons to dislike this woman, but passing around lies doesn’t help anyone.
