Well, I brought up “Blind Side” as an example of a movie in which a southern white conservative family was not racist. I don’t think a feature movie gets burned into the public consciousness as much as a TV series does.
This episode combines some plot devices that liberals love. They love to make “minorities killed/murdered by trigger-happy whites” stories and the “innocent person wrongly convicted and executed by the state” stories. Doubtless, 90% of Hollyweird believes the “innocent child Trayvon hunted down and murdered by evil, racist, white Hispanic Zimmerman” tale.
Sorta weird. I love the show because they film inspired by true stories. This show is such a success. 15 years? Good Lord most shows up to be on 4 years to get syndication. I just think it is odd that they wouldn’t film two separate episodes so that they can have a separate Dean episode and a separate Trayvon and Zimmerman episode. I think it would have been better to separate the two true stories. It would make the separate episodes more authentic.
It won’t get a third of the viewers Duck Dynasty does.
Absolutely, she should sue them. I think the term would be slander, as this would be a visual depiction of lies, vs Libel, which would be written or online. George W. Bush lost a lot of credibility with low infos because he did not fight or bite them back, nor would he clearly support his followers to serve as a rhetorical warrior for him.
I’m finding “NTSF:SD:SUV” more believable than L&O.
Plus I cant stand Vincent DOnofrio
Are you crazy? Best actor as he proved that in Full Medal Jacket. You need to do some heavy duty reevaluating your favorite and least favorite actors.
It wont get a third of the viewers Duck Dynasty does.
I can’t stand when people make such stupid comments like yours. First of all you cannot compare a 4 year old show with a 15 year old show on completely different networks. Secondly, Law and Order SVU has averaged 15 million viewers in earlier seasons. I believe Duck Dynasty (which I have all the seasons on Amazon Instant Video and love it) will NEVER see 15 years and will have a hard time getting to 15 million viewers as Law and Order SVU has already done. Oh and let’s not even talk about Emmy wins.
She would NEVER win a case. At the beginning they put up a statement staying these are INSPIRED by true stories but any person who is depicted in the stories is only coincidence and not real people. Plus she is a famous person and would have a VERY hard time suing. She pretty much lost all the money she is going to lose so it seems like she is at the bottom of the barrel and needs to work herself up again some how.
I guess I wasn’t clear about what I meant. I really had a dislike for his character in Law & Order. He was great as “Private Pyle”. Every time I see that movie I wonder what would have happened if he’d made it through boot and ended up in RVN with the rest of his training company.
You may be right. I recall several very famous people who were told, once you reach a certain level of fame, you sort of become public property. As a well known person, the strength of your fame leaves the little people free to say whatever want,(with a few exceptions) because of your constant presence in their lives. I hope Paula comes back bigger (financially) than ever.
Who gives a crap what you can't stand? If you like ignorant 15 year old liberal dinosaur tv shows aimed at the typical 12 year old then have at it. Sounds like its written precisely for people just like you.
That episode follows the one about the three bored thugs who gunned down an Australian student and precedes the one about the brave, manly thugs who beat to death an 88 year old WWII veteran.

First she shoots Trayvon, then turns him into fritters.
I first read the title as having Trayvon in a new SUV.
Seemed pretty unbelievable to me until I reread the title.
Problem is though, Deen didn’t do anything criminal, so there’s no story there.
(Not saying Zimmerman DID do something criminal, just that Deen didn’t do anything she could be arrested for.)
Vincent Donutfrio, a.k.a. Private Pyle?

Thank you for that.
D’Onofrio will always be “Private Gomer” to me.
