According to an August 23, 2013 story in the Dallas Morning News, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas has declined to endorse the senior senator from Texas, John Cornyn, who is running for reelection in 2014. The stated reason for this neutrality is interesting.
The reason is simple. I think every elected official, including me, owes it to people, the grassroots, to go and make the case to the grassroots, why he or she is representing their interests, is fighting for their values and their principles. And I trust the people.

And another go-along-to-get-along triangulator gets the snub he richly deserves.
John Cornyn, Establishment backstabber.
Hey Johnny...move to Mexico, it’s your kind of place. Don’t try to bring it here.

Senator Cruz is doing the right thing. This is for the primary only and the primary should be a people’s vote.

this is a very good sign, to me. he’s saying nothing about the GOPe’s professional hack, cornyn. he’s apparently not playing the d.c. party game ala romney, christy, etc. a great example to other conservatives who fall prey to this corrupting political party rite of acceptance into the club.

The Tea Party continues to illicit such remarks as..."radical"..."White crackers"..."intolerance"..." racist"..."lies" etc.....The Tea Party has of course, none of those characteristics...the Tea Party stands for the United States Constitution and for smaller government...and that makes them stand out from the left which makes the left very nervous which causes the left to demean the American Tea Party in all conversations with the MSM and talking heads. The Tea Party is totally synonymous with our Constitution and Declaration of Independence!....a fine group of Americans.

Yep, besides, I believe that Cornyn supported Dewhurst in his primary race against Cruz....

I got a call from Cornyn's campaign begging for $$$. They won't call me again. I told the caller how I felt about Cornyn...including giving money to Arlen Specter two weeks before he switched parties.
One of his responses was, "Do you know he agrees with Cruz on...? I said, "He better agree with Cruz!"...and hung up.

Ditto!
I love that Cruz didn't wait to get permission from McCain and the other old buzzards to represent those who voted for him.
Cruz has ruffled the right feathers!...who are the real whacko birds!

Come on Texas, you can do way better than Cornyn. It’s time for you to find and elect another Ted Cruz. Cornyn isn’t worthy of being a US Senator, especially from a state like Texas!
